Mary’s Meals Donegal are calling on the local community to help people suffering in Ethiopia.
War is raging in Tigray, Ethiopia, and much of the world remains unaware.
Reports of what people have gone through since the conflict began last November are ‘nothing short of horrific’, volunteers say. For the past seven months, they have endured large-scale human rights abuses and widespread violence.
Mary’s Meals and their trusted partners The Daughters of Charity are currently providing 25,000 internally displaced people with vital food aid, serving daily meals at several schools across Mekelle and Maychew these schools have been turned into temporary shelters.
Mary’s Meals Donegal have placed donations envelopes in many churches across the county, and kindly ask that people support in any way they can.
To find out more please go to www.marysmeals.ie or call Patricia on 0863140814
