Donegal is set to bask in warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine for the next two days at least.
The county’s beaches were packed over the weekend as overcast conditions gave way to bright sunshine on Saturday afternoon.
Coastal villages across the county reported huge increases in traffic and visitor numbers.
Portsalon was the destination for thousands with locals reporting record crowds as cars struggled to pass eachother, such was the volume of motorists at Ballymastocker Bay.
There were also large crowds reported at Sliabh Liag, Marble Hill, Dooey Beach and Rathmullan.
Today is once again set to be dry with plenty of hazy sunshine and highs of between 18C to 20C.
And if you’re off work tomorrow then you’re in for more of the same and perhaps even a little warmer with temperatures reaching up to 22C.
