Job Vacancy: Aurivo Co-Operative Society is recruiting a milk intake operative on a fixed-term contract at its Killygordon base.

Milk Intake Operative; Fixed Term Contract – 6 months; Aurivo Consumer Foods, Killygordon, Co. Donegal

Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e- commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. In Aurivo our values define how we operate, employing over 630 people directly and providing employment for many others in wide range of activities including transport & distribution.

Opportunity

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, Aurivo Consumer Foods, Killygordon the successful candidates will be responsible for the intake of liquid milk delivered by tanker from Aurivo’s milk suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Document milk tanker details when receiving milk intake at weighbridge

• Off load and pump milk to correct silo

• Ensure production requests are completely correctly and in a timely manner.

• Washing tankers to ensure hygiene standards maintained

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Adhere to health and safety procedures

• Ad hoc tasks and duties as required

• Shift pattern and weekend work apply to this role

The ideal candidate will have

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Strong communicate skills

• Ability to work on their own initiative

• Flexibility in working duties and areas of work
