A NEW camogie team in Donegal played its first adult fixture this week.

Markievicz Camogie Club lined out against Glenullen in the Ulster Development League on Tuesday evening.

At Setanta Park in the Cross, Markievicz lost out to the County Derry side.

The evening was the culmination of a lot of endeavour by the club to get off the ground.

Several underage teams are currently training with squads at all levels up to senior.

In their first adult game, Aoife Campbell scored a goal and two points.
