On your bike! Former Harps player to cycle Ireland for local club

A FORMER Finn Harps player is embarking on a gruelling cycle to raise money for a local football club.

Karl Lafferty, now an underage coach at Donegal Town Football Club, will cycle 370km from Cork to Donegal.

Lafferty, who played for Harps in the 1990s and played underage football for the Republic of Ireland will take on the challenge with his friend Stephen Connell on July 22/23.

The cycle is to raise funds forour underage teams’ training and match equipment and gear.
