MARC Walsh netted his first Derry City goal to rescue a dramatic draw against Bohemians tonight.

Walsh pounced two minutes into added time at the end to secure a share of the spoils for the Candystripes.

When Ali Coote struck from long range in the 83rd minute, Bohemians looked to be on their way to an away win at the Brandywell.

However, Derry snatched a late, late leveller as Walsh tucked home.

Late, late drama!

The Loughanure man, who is a Republic of Ireland underage international, was released by Swansea City last summer.

Walsh spent a brief period training with Finn Harps, but signed for Derry for the 2021 season.

The 20-year-old has had some injury difficulties so far, but Walsh – a 77th minute replacement for David Parkhouse – came up with the goods to earn a valuable draw.
