RACHAEL Darragh had to show some powers of endurance to book her place in the quarter-finals of the RSL Lithuanian International.

The Raphoe woman came from behind to defeat Anna Bygum from Denmark.

Darragh lost the first game 19-21, but hit back to claim the next two 21-16 21-18.

The match lasted 57 minutes, but it was Darragh, the competition’s fourth seed, who progressed.

Darragh will now face Mariia Golubeva in the quarter-finals.

Yesterday evening, Darragh claimed an impressive 21-7 21-8 win over Estonia’s Elisaveta Berik.
