If you’re in Donegal Town these days, keep your eyes peeled for a walking potato!

That’s because Potato Head is in town and chipping in to promote a new lunch at The Abbey Hotel.

The Food Hall at the Market House Restaurant now open 9am to 4pm for “Grab & Go” takeaways sevens week. Locals and visitors to Donegal Town are delighted to have the opportunity to grab their favourite lunch on the the go.

To add to their extensive choice they have now added the Baked Potato.

Some of the selection available includes:

– Creamy Chicken, Mushroom & Leek
– Spicy Savoury Mince topped with Chilli & Dubliner Cheddar
– Savoury Bean with Dubliner Cheddar
– Tuna & Mozzarella
– Roasted Vegetable tossed in Wild Garlic Pesto
– Chimichurri Beef

With the surge in popularity of these Baked Potatoes The Food Hall received a surprise visitor to check it all out, Potato Head.

Potato Head is delighted to reveal that these sumptuous large spuds are sourced locally from McGinty Fruit & Veg in Donegal Town.

The Food Hall has outdoor seating available on their Bay View Terrace and they are looking forward to the 5th July when visitors can dine indoors
