A new community service has been launched to support the wellbeing of Donegal families affected by the Mica Crisis.
‘Mica Self Care’ will offer resources and counselling to victims struggling with the stress of their situation.
Insight Inishowen is a voluntary-run charity, which promotes mental health and emotional wellbeing and works to prevent suicide.
The new Mica-focused service aims to help people find their own strategies for self care and offer a safety net of care and support if it gets too much.
Coreen Robinson, Mica campaigner with ‘The Bigger Picture Project’, is appealing to anyone who can help by providing any mental health service for adults or children, or to sponsor a counselling session to please get in touch with Insight Inishowen.
A range of supports is set to be introduced in the coming weeks. Contact Insight Inishowen for details: www.insightinishowen.ie, 087 170 8743
