Donegal Senator Niall Blaney has expressed his disappointment that Sinn Féin chose not to support and instead staged a walk-out on the voting of the Offences Against the State Act.
Fianna Fáil Senator Blaney commented, “We are living in times where drugs are ravaging our communities and criminality is on the increase.
“This piece of legislation is designed to protect us from the most dangerous criminals in society.
“It’s time for any party who wish to be in government to step up and show their true colours. Unfortunately, on this occasion Sinn Féin’s colours are not to be desired.”
