PLANS have been lodged for the development of new campervan pitches in Bundoran.
An application was lodged to Donegal Council earlier this week by Carnovan Limited.
The proposed development is for the provision of 13 touring pitches, three of which would be for daytime only, at Bundoran Retail Park.
Services for the camper vans would be provided by using existing accessible toilet/shower facilities and reception area in buildings adjacent to the pitches.
The application provides for the construction of two lean-to structures to the rear of the buildings for waste disposal points.
The developer is also seeing to modify existing green areas to provide play and picnic areas.
Donegal County Council say that a decision on the application is due on August 17.
