The working group set up to address the MICA scandal will meet for the first time this week.
And Taoiseach Micheal Martin plans to si in on some of those meetings.
The Sunday Independent reports that the group, made up of homeowners as well as executives from the Department of Housing will meet to outline the situation.
Suggestions from the meeting will be then brought forward for consideration.
Among the initial topics will be the compensation offered to those whose homes have been left crumbling as a result of being built with defective blocks.
