OISIN Orr recorded his latest win for trainer Dermot Weld today.

Orr won the Raheen Maiden at Limerick aboard Weld’s 9/4 shot Baseman.

After the one mile race, Orr had one-and-a-half lengths to nearest challenger, Lord Luker, the 7/4 favourite.

A furlong out, Orr made the move and Baseman won strongly.

Orr said: “They are getting into the ground and all the rain we got was a big help to him.

“I travelled everywhere, quickened up nicely and when I did get there he was probably only doing enough.”
