People in their 60s who are waiting on their second Covid-19 vaccine dose can expect to receive them by Sunday week.
The HSE reports that less than 100,000 of people in the 69-60 cohort are still waiting on their second jab.
Damien McCallion, HSE National Director COVID Vaccination Programme, said 75% of second dose appointments have been made already. The remainder will be scheduled over the week for the entire group to be inoculated by Sunday 18th July.
A total of 4.55 million vaccines have now been administered in Ireland. 70% of the adult population (2.63million) have received a first or single dose and 2million have received their second dose.
