A popular garda retired today after more than three decades serving the people of Donegal.
Garda Kevin Coyle commenced his career in the force in 1989 and has spent his entire service within the Donegal Division.
He will be especially missed by all his colleagues at Letterkenny Garda Station.
They took to Facebook to wish Mr Coyle many years of good health and happiness and also presented him with a large cake to send him on his way!
