A Ballybofey family is in mourning following the death of a young family member in a tragic accident in Germany.
The 23-year-old single woman, who lives in the south of the country, died on Tuesday after a fall while on holiday.
Her mother is originally from the Twin Towns and the girl’s grandmother still resides there.
Her aunts also live in the area.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it is “aware of the case and providing consular assistance.”
