SEVERAL members of the Killybegs Coast Guard unit were presented with Long Service Medals this week.
The 20-year and ten-year service medals were presented this week by Coastal Unit Sector Manager Dermot Hickey and Paul Gill, the Divisional Controller from MRSC Malin Head.
Receiving 10 year service medals were: Shane McCrudden (OIC), Ronan McFadden (DOIC), Eoghan Dorrian, Brian Smith, Fergal Shovelin and Enda McGuinness.
Receiving 20 year service medals were: Michael Love, Donald Campbell, John Harley and Phil Moloney.
A spokesperson for the Killybegs Coast Guard said: “These members have a wealth of knowledge, experience and skill that they continue to pass on to other members.
“Their hard work and dedication throughout the years have helped many people in the local community.”
