Man hospitalised following assault in Letterkenny

A man was hospitalised after being assaulted by two other men in Letterkenny.

Gardaí are investigating the incident which occurred on Market Square in the early hours of Friday 16th July between 12.30am and 12.50am.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to the assault to come forward with any information. They are particularly appealing to taxi drivers to share dashcam footage if available.
