Ireland has reached another milestone for Covid-19 vaccinations today.
66% of the adult population is now fully vaccination. This represents half of the total population of Ireland.
80% of adults have received at least one dose.
There have been 5.34million doses administered to date.
Commenting this morning, HSE CEO Paul Reid said: “We’ve over 5.34M vaccines administered with 66% of adults now fully vaccinated & 80% partially. Delta poses a huge risk to this progress but one that we can meet head on. Let’s aim to support our healthcare workers having a manageable August. One that they all deserve. “
