Ireland’s heatwave is not over yet as more hot and sunny conditions continue this weekend.
Today, Friday, will see high temperatures of 27-30C in the north west. It will be dry for most areas with a chance of an isolated heavy shower developing. However most thunderstorms will be in the midlands, south and west of the country.
Tonight will be another warm and humid night before Saturday and Sunday bring more warm temperatures.
Saturday temperatures will average from 22 to 26 degrees.
“Further sunshine on Saturday. Scattered showers will develop through the afternoon,” said Met Eireann.
Sunday will feel a little fresher, according to the forecast.
“Sunny spells with some scattered showers developing in the afternoon.”
“Feeling a little more refreshing in light to moderate northerly breezes,” said Met Eireann.
Monday will be less humid while the week ahead will be ‘changeable’ with “a mix of showers and dry spells. Temperatures back to more average values for mid-summer.”
