OISIN Orr recorded his latest winner at Leopardstown yesterday evening.

Orr won the Leopardstown Fillies Maiden aboard the Dermot Weld-trained Tina Angelina.

The 9/4 shot had three lengths on New Moon Rising, a 7/1 chance trained by Joseph O’Brien and ridden by Shane Crosse.

Just three furlongs from home, Orr and Tina Angelina were last, but they son hit the groove. Quickened to lead over the final furlong, Orr romped home.

“Oisin knows her very well, that’s why he rode her. She’s a character and I’m delighted with her performance,” Weld said afterwards.

“She’s just taken time to get the hang of everything and it’s only really come together for her in the last two weeks.
