A caravan and campervan owner had close calls in the popular seaside town on Portnablagh yesterday.

Rising tides caught the owners unaware as both vehicles almost came to a watery end.

It took an effort from beachgoers to push the campervan off the beach to safety.

Locals scrambled to find the owner of a caravan which had been parked near the slipway at the pier.

Thankfully they made it back in time before the caravan was washed out to sea!
