Hollywood star Patrick Dempsey has given one Donegal company a super shoutout on social media.
The actor, best known as “Dr McDreamy” from Grey’s Anatomy, is sporting some Hanna Hats pieces during his time in Ireland.
The 55-year-old loved his vintage Donegal tweed cap and his mask so much that he shared a snap of it with millions of social media followers today.
Hanna Hats of Donegal are over the moon with the support and thanked Dempsey for modelling their bestselling classic cap. The cap was designed in the 1960s and is ‘ worn for generations and treasured by many’, Hanna Hats say.
The family-run brand was established in Donegal in 1924 and has been reinventing and adapting every since – all while keeping with tradition of handmade high quality woven tweed hats.
Patrick Dempsey has been sampling the style, culture and scenery of Ireland during his time filming the new Disney movie ‘Disenchanted‘ in Co. Wicklow. In recent weeks, the star is using his Instagram platform to promote Irish brands and places, much to the delight of his Irish followers.
