Gardai have launched an investigation after two houses were damaged in a hit and run incident in Ballybofey.
A car knocked struck a pillar at one house before hitting a garden wall of another at Dreenan.
The occupants of the car fled the scene but left the car behind them.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
A Garda Scenes of Crime Unit carried out further investigations at the scene of the incident today.
The car was removed from the scene and is being examined.
A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Daily “Gardaí were in attendance in the Dreenan area of Ballybofey, Co Donegal in relation to an investigation into a road traffic collision that occurred on the 25th of July.
“As we do not comment on ongoing investigations there is no further information available in regards to this incident at this time.”
