LETTERKENNY mixed martial artist Jordan Furey fights for the Clan Wars super-lightweight title on Sunday.

Furey, now fighting out of the Straight Blast Gym – made famous by Conor McGregor and his coach John Kavanagh – meets Aaron McDonald.

The 21-year-old Furey is 3-0 heading into the 165lb title fight against McDonald at the Jim Baker Stadium in County Antrim.

Torres JJ fighter McDonald is also unbeaten, the Belfast man boating a 4-0 record.

Sunday’s Clan Wars 41 event has completely sold out with spectators back at cage-side after the promotion ran three events behind closed doors.

In June, at Clan Wars 40, Furey overcame Jess Paulo when the referee called a halt just shy of three minutes into their bout.

Furey’s debut came in early 2018 when he defeated Morgan Boyd, following up with a  December, 2018 win against Cathal O’Donnell.
