HB Tunnelling currently have an open position for a Graduate Site Engineer who will be based in the UK.

Job Title – Junior Graduate Engineer

Job Location – UK Nationwide

Salary – £negotiable

About the Company

Working with a Specialist Tunnelling Sub-Contractor throughout the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will support the Senior Engineer with setting out for works and management on site. In addition to that, HB Tunnelling will allow the candidate to progress their career within the company.

The Role

· Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.

· Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the projects.

· Support the Senior Engineer/ Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.

· Report to a Senior Engineer and support the senior engineer with managing the site and ensuring quality of works.

· Maintain excellent relationships with the client, construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

· Completing daily records.

Requirements

· A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

· Minimum of 1-2 years’ post grad experience.

· Must be willing to travel.

· Full clean driving licence.

· Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.

· Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint. AutoCAD or similar program would be beneficial but not essential.
