OLLIE Horgan insists that Finn Harps will turn their poor form around.
Harps head for Sligo Rovers on Saturday night without a League win since the end of May.
A recent FAI Cup win at Fairview Rangers arrested Harps’ dip in form, but with Waterford having overtaken them and Horgan’s men now in the play-off spot, things have begun to look precarious.
“I don’t think we ever pushed the panic button,” Horgan told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“I think it was other people who pouched the panic button. Waterford have invested very heavily and they might catch more than us.
“We’re in the position that we normally are at this time of the year. We need to pick up and we need to pick up soon. Sometimes, in the most unexpected places, that happens.”
Defender Shane McEleney is suspended for the game, while Horgan has reported ‘a number’ of injuries.
Sligo have lost their last four games in all competitions and Horgan added: “We need to keep it tight and see what happens. If we’re right, we’re hoping that we can make it tight.
“It will take us playing well to get it turned. It will turn, but it’s just a matter of when and where. If they stick together, please God we’ll get that rub of the green.”
