TYRONE powered past Fermanagh for a facile win in this evening’s Ulster Minor Championship semi-final to tee up a final meeting with Donegal.

Tyrone had 30 points to spare, winning 6-21 to 1-6 at Healy Park.

Fermanagh had actually begun well with Dan McCann’s goal helping them to lead 1-2 to 0-3 by the 11th minute.

That joy, however, was short-lived.

Michael Rafferty intercepted from Fermanagh in the 14th minute and Tyrone were in front.

Ronan Cassidy fired home on 27 minutes and Tyrone led 2-10 to 1-3 at half-time.

Two minutes into the second half, Paddy McCann polished off a fine Tyrone team move as he slotted in the third.

Tyrone scored three goals in as many minutes just before the midway mark of the second half.

A well-worked move in the 42nd minute concluded with Eoin McElholm firing to the Fermanagh net.

Shea O’Hare bagged a fifth goal almost immediately and the sixth arrived just a minute later form Noah Grimes, rattling in from close range.

Grimes’ goal opened up a 24-point lead and the Red Hands ticked the scoreboard a few more times to advance with ease.
