HEARTBROKEN Geraldine Mullan has told how she draws comfort from her treasure chest of photographs as the first anniversary of the death of her husband and two children approaches.

On August 20, 2020, Geraldine lost her beloved husband John, son Tomás (14) and daughter Amelia (six).

The car in which the Mullan’s were travelling plunged into Lough Foyle near Quigley’s Point. Geraldine was the sole survivor.

“Instead of a family of four, now I’m all alone,” she told the Irish Independent.

“All I have are my treasured memories of John, Tomás and Amelia.

“The photographs that I took of us mean so much to me. They bring me back to a moment in time, to our treasured family life together when life was perfect.”
