TYLER Toland made her Celtic debut this afternoon in a 3-1 win over Partick Thistle in the SWPL Cup.

On her 20th birthday, the St Johnston woman made her competitive bow in the Hoops.

A double by Toland’s fellow debutant, Charlie Wellings, saw Celtic come from behind to win with Toland played the first half for Fran Alonso’s side.

Partick Thistle took the lead at Petershill Park when Tegan McCann scored in the sixth minute.

Celtic drew level when Wellings chipped the advancing ‘keeper four minutes before half-time.

Wellings nodded in to put Celtic in front in the 57th minute and Kathleen McGovern’s 87th minute half-volley sealed the deal.

Toland is wearing the number 16 shirt at Celtic having signed last month following the expiration of her contract at Manchester City.
