Donegal-born Garda receives second senior promotion in a year

A Donegal-bord garda has been promoted again, this time to the most senior levels within An Garda Siochanna.

Appointed Chief Superintendent of the Wexford Division last year, Denis Ferry has today been assigned to Human Resource Management.

His appointment was confirmed, along with other promotions, by Garda Headquarters.

Chief Supt Ferry is the son of Denis and Eileen Ferry of Roshine, Dunfanaghy.
