The Kilcar Parish Council is calling for nominations for its next election.
The election was postponed last year due to Covid-19, but locals now hope to hold the vote on Friday, 27th August.
Kilcar Parish Council was established in 2017 to promote the welfare of the Parish as a whole. Members were actively involved in supporting the vulnerable and those isolating at the height of the Covid-19 crisis.
Nominations for the new council have opened for a short period to enable people to be added to the list of candidates who accepted their nominations last year.
Nomination boxes are available in Áislann Chill Chartha, Centra, Kilcar; Doherty’s and Byrne’s Supermarkets and the Butcher Shop, Carrick and in O’Donnell’s, Meenaneary.
