The Cope Dungloe crowned as one of Ireland’s Top 125 stores

The Cope Department Store Dungloe has secured a place as one of the Top 125 retail stores in Ireland in the AIBMS Retail Excellence Awards 2021.

The Cope has been in business for an incredible 115 years and now boasts a popular department store, footstores and builders providers.

The Department Store on Main Street succeeded in Retail Excellence’s Top125 selection process and has now made it through to Phase 2 of the competition and the Top30 in Ireland.

The Top30 stores will be rigorously tested before being whittled down to the Top5 finalists and overall Retailer of the Year Winner.

The awards shine a light on businesses throughout the country who have put an emphasis on customer service and safety in the most trying of circumstances.

A spokesperson for The Cope team said: “This is a wonderful achievement and we are so proud of our team who have worked so hard throughout this past year which has been extremely challenging for retail.”
