Gardai seize car in Ballybofey overnight

Ballybofey Gardaí detected a motorist who was driving without a valid driving licence or insurance last night. 

The vehicle was subsequently seized and court proceedings will now follow.

The car seized by Gardai in Ballybofey last night.

“Gardaí operate checkpoints and patrols around the clock,” a Garda spokesperson said.

“Before taking to the roads you should always:Ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition; Ensure that you are fully insured to drive and that you have a valid driving licence; Check that your vehicle is taxed/tested.”
