Donegal County Council has given the green light for a new restaurant in Drumkeen.

Edward McGlynn has been granted permission to demolish some buildings at the popular Rosie’s Bar to make way for the eatery.

The application also includes an extension to the existing bar.

Meanwhile, Daly Bros Ltd have been granted permission to build a new filling station in Lifford.

The proposed development, on the Castlefin road, includes the demolition of the existing temporary structure to make way for a new shop and restaurant.
