Vacancies: The Connacht Ulster Alliance is currently recruiting

The Connacht Ulster Alliance (CUA) currently has a number of vacancies.

Higher Education 4.0 is an ambitious, innovative project supported by €12.3M of funding from the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) Pillar 3 call. 

It is a collaborative project from the members of the Connacht Ulster Alliance (CUA), who are currently at an advanced stage of working collaboratively towards becoming a Technological University (institute of Technology, Sligo (IT Sligo), Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) and Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LyIT). 

The three institutes offer a modern, dynamic and inclusive working environment, in which equality and diversity is embraced, and applications are welcome from all.

A range of flexible working options support staff in balancing their work and home life. The Institutes are members of the Athena SWAN Charter and are working towards achieving gender equality.

The Institute wishes to recruit the following positions:
  • Instructional Designer x 3 posts 
  • (fixed-term contract until 31 December 2024)

One to be located on each of the 3 main project partner campuses, Institute of Technology Sligo, Galway Mayo Institute of Technology or Letterkenny Institute of Technology, (Connaught Ulster Alliance, CUA).             Applicants should note that panels may be formed from which additional posts may be filled. 

Applicants are required to specify their preferred location.

  • Communication and Dissemination Officer 
  • (fixed-term contract until 31 December 2024)

Located at any one of the project partner campuses.

  • MakerSpace Development Designer  
  • (2-year, part-time, fixed-term contract until 31 December 2023)

Located at one of GMIT’s Five Campuses
