There will be road closures in the heart of Letterkenny for three nights for vital resurfacing works.
The work will take place from Wednesday, September 8th next and will last for three nights from 8pm until 6am the following morning.
The Port Road will be closed to through traffic at the Station Roundabout and Polestar Roundabout from 8pm to 6am on the three nights.
Diversions will be in place as indicated at both roundabouts. Access will be provided where necessary.
Engineers hope to get the substantial work (tarring) carried out on Wednesday and Thursday night with lighter work on Friday so that the road closure may not be needed.
Access will still be provided for emergency services
