Health officials have today confirmed 1,382 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic.
There are 355 people hospitalised with the virus, including 54 in ICU.
Nineteen patients with Covid-19 are being treated at Letterkenny University Hospital, with two people in ICU.
Daily county-by-county figures are no longer released by NPHET, but the latest data shows that Donegal has Ireland’s second highest incidence of infection.
The 14-day incidence rate in Donegal stood at 1159 per 100,000 on 29th August. The national average was 524.9 per 100,000.
