Scoil Mhuire Creeslough has been approved to proceed to tender on their extension project.
The proposed development would see the erection of a new single-storey extension to consist of two mainstream classrooms, one special education tuition room and a new link corridor at the south boundary of the school.
The progress has been welcomed by Donegal Deputy Joe McHugh.
The Fine Gael TD said: Comhghairdeas mór to Principal John O’Doherty, Margaret-Anne O’Reilly & the Board of Management at Scoil Mhuire Creeslough. It has always been a pleasure working with the team at Scoil Mhuire over the years, right back to the very first meeting with the school committee a number of years ago attended by Fr. John Joe Duffy. Best wishes with the project, Ádh mór oraibh amach anseo.”
