ANOTHER 1,751 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed by Irish health officials today,
The Department of Health says that there are now 343 Covid-19 patients in hospitals.
Of those, 59 are receiving treatment in intensive care settings.
There are 13 Covid-19 patients at Letterkenny University Hospital, with two admissions over the last 24 hours. As of 8pm last night, there were no patients with Covid-19 recorded in ICU at LUH.
Daily county-by-county figures are no longer released by NPHET, but the latest data shows that Donegal has Ireland’s second highest incidence of infection.
The 14-day incidence rate in Donegal stood at 1567 per 100,000 on 31st August. The national average was 521.8 per 100,000.
