Donegal Garda Colin Talbot has always paddled his own canoe.

But paddling his own kayak for 40 miles over two days to raise money for various kids’ charities is just showing off!

Colin was joined by colleagues Garda Colm Mc Conigley and Garda Matthew Burke and a number of others as he started his ‘Kayaking for Kids’ challenge.

His Garda colleagues wished him as well as Shane Friel and Jason Mc Cahill (pictured) and to all involved.

“We hope you all have a safe trip and we have no doubt that your efforts will make a big difference in the lives of many,” said a Garda spokesperson.
