NAOMI Gildea was top of the class at Loreto Secondary School in Letterkenny as students gathered to collect their 2021 Leaving Certificate results on Friday morning.

Naomi was in seventh heaven as she picked up the piece of paper confirming the news – she had achieved seven H1s in her exams.

Another happy group of Ebony Gibbons, Maeve Harkin, Ailbhe Finn, Naomi Gildea, Sarah Moran and Sindhuja Shankar were among those who achieved over 600 points.

Loreto Secondary School principal Ms Geraldine Mullen said: “I would like to congratulate all the Leaving Certificate students on their outstanding results today.

“I am particularly proud of what they have achieved considering the difficulties they encountered over the past two years.

“I congratulate each and every student and their teachers on the wonderful results. I wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.”
