Letterkenny Institute of Technology is to receive a Government cash injection of €1.3M to carry out a number of works as students prepare to return to classes.
The allocation is part of an overall package of €38M given to third-level institutions including ITs.
The funding is aimed at providing works and provision of equipment for safe campus re-opening, procurement of additional ICT devices for disadvantaged students, and investments in infrastructure to allow for additional course places for 2021 Leaving Cert students.
