Summer is making a comeback to Donegal today, with temperatures to reach highs of 25C.
Met Eireann is forecasting a very warm and sunny day for the north west.
Temperatures will rise quickly this morning to 22C by midday, and getting warmer as the afternoon goes on.
Tonight will also have a summer-feel.
“A very mild and humid night with temperatures not falling below 13 to 17 degrees,” said Met Eireann.
We’ll have to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, however, as the rain is to return on Wednesday.
The forecast for tomorrow is: “Warm and humid tomorrow with dry and bright weather to begin. However scattered showers, some of which will be heavy, will drift northwards into Ulster by afternoon.”
