Rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue across Ireland today (Thursday).
A Status Yellow weather warning is in place until 12pm.
Scattered heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected in areas.
“Localised flooding may occur where the rainfall is heaviest,” warned Met Eireann.
Temperatures will remain warm at highs of 18-21C today and 13-15C tonight.
Friday is expected to have similar conditions, according to Met Eireann: “Mostly cloudy with scattered showers some may turn heavy in the afternoon with the risk of isolated thunderstorms. ”
