The family of missing Derry man Emmette Dillon (33) are appealing for his safe return.

Emmette has not been in contact with his family since 3rd September.

He was last seen just after midnight on September 3 leaving his apartment in Conar Court in Crawford Square in Derry.

He is described as approximately six feet tall, slim, with dark hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

His family has said he is vulnerable and are appealing to everyone to be vigilant and report any sightings no matter how small.

Derry City and Strabane police are appealing to people to get in touch by calling 101 and quoting reference number 1847.
