Donegal Senator Eileen Flynn has announced the birth of her baby girl.
Lacey Mary Whyte was born at 6.21am yesterday.
The Ardara Senator took to Facebook a short time ago to make the official announcement.
She said herself and partner Liam Whyte are delighted by the new arrival.

She wrote “Liam and I are over the moon. Lacey and I are well. Thank you to everyone for your well wishes and congratulations.”
The couple (and Lacey!) have been inundated with warm wishes for the future together.
