A Letterkenny man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a woman.
Damian Collier of 75 Glenwood Park was charged under Section 4 of the Criminal Law Act.
The 39-year-old is charged with assaulting the woman at his home at Glenwood Park on September 10th last.
Detective Garda Tom McNally told Letterkenny District Court that Gardai had no objection to bail.
He told the court that when charged, Collier replied “I didn’t assault her”
Detective McNally said Gardai were looking for a number of conditions including that Collier stay out of Convoy, have no contact with the alleged injured party directly or through social media, that he remain sober and sign on twice weekly at Letterkenny Garda station.
Judge Barbara Murphy agreed to impose all bail conditions.
The case was adjourned until October 11th next.
