THE Department of Health has confirmed that there have been 1,432 new cases of Covid-19 today.
There are 272 Covid-19 patients in Irish hospitals, 63 of whom are in intensive care settings.
In the last week, there have been 30 further deaths relating to Covid-19 in Ireland.
There are now 21 Covid-19 patients in Letterkenny University Hospital. On Sunday night, there were 22 patients in LUH receiving treatment for the coronavirus.
That figure reduced slightly at the start of the week, but has gone above 20 again. Of those in LUH, two are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
