Halloween might not be here yet but Letterkenny Chamber has given everyone a fright – by announcing the date for the switch-on of the Christmas lights!
Last Christmas was a bit of a socially distancing affair because of Covid restrictions.
But organisers of this year’s event are hoping that a real festive atmosphere can flood into the Cathedral Town when the lights are officially turned on on November 19th.
Details of the big switch-on have yet to be announced but a ‘save it in your diary’ date has been released.
A Go Fund Me page organised for last year’s Christmas lights saw a number of cool new attractions added which helped to light up the town.
